Wrap Carrier: Best suited for use in the first year, the Wrap Carrier is recommended for babies 3-10kg. VIXSA find it most useful in the first 6-8 months as it really gives you a ‘hands free’ capacity and a womb-like environment for baby. If your baby is under 3kg, VIXSA recommend discussing the use with your Doctor and/or Midwife.

• In 2015 two friends and new mothers, Charline and Lekisha, discovered their common love for baby-wearing. Like many new Mums they found the closeness and security offered by baby-wearing to far outweigh any other means of baby-carrying.

  Disheartened by the lack of fashionable, natural and lightweight options on the market they decided to create their own. The goal was simple, create a line of comfortable to wear carriers from natural, breathable fabrics that don’t compromise on style.

  YOUR VIXSA WRAP CARRIER HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR TUMMY TO TUMMY ONLY! YOU SHOULD NOT WEAR YOUR BABY FACING FOWARD OR ON YOUR BACK!

  Step 1. Position VIXSA Logo at the centre. Keep fabric stretched while wrapping around waist. Wrap behind your back.

  Step 2. Cross the tqo outstretched pieces behind your back. Bring each side up and over your shoulders to make an X

  Step 3. Take both pieces in one hand & tuck them under the section with the VIXSA Logo while keeping the tension.

  Step 4.Pull down and adjust to fit snug and cling to your body. Cross the pieces. Keep fabric stretched.

  Step 5.Bring them around your waist behind your back. No need to leave any extra space. Cross the wrap behind your back.

  Step 6.Bring it back to the front. You can tie a double knot behind your back, in the front or on your hip.

  Always securely hold and support your baby while placing them in your wrap.

  Your baby should be snug against your body and high on your chest

  Be certain that you and your baby can breathe easily.

• Follow Vixsa supplied instructions.

  Take 1st layer shoulder piece, pull open. Carefully slide baby's leg under the shoulder pieces.

  Spread the shoulder peices wide over your baby's body for support. Pull baby's legs through the logo piece.

  Pull the piece with the logo up and over your baby's bottom to the back of the neck. Legs can be outside of wrap.

  Legs out in classic carry is suitable from birth and is the current recommendation.

  The newborn carry, with baby in the spread 'squat' position or 'M' shape is also suitable for up to 12 weeks depending on babies cues.

  If baby starts to push inside of the wrap, this is a good indication they are ready for legs out.

• Wrap Carrier: Made with the signature VIXSA jersey, the composition is 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. This gives the Wrap Carrier strength with a comfortable stretch. All carriers are professionally finished and come with a matching fabric storage bag.

  Be assured, the VIXSA logo tag is vegan leather. Its soft and flexible and also functions as a centre point when wrapping baby. DO NOT REMOVE TAG

  VIXSA have simple washing instructions printed on the soft tag sewn into your Carrier. Be careful not to wash your carrier with anything that could cause damage. Garments with snaps, buttons or zippers may snag on the carrier and lead to holes.

  Wrap Carrier: VIXSA recommended a cold, gentle machine wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry in the shade.

• IMPORTANT - PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE USING THE VIXSA WRAP CARRIER AT YOUR OWN RISK, ALWAYS BE CAREFUL AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR BABY WITH IT WHILE UNATTENDED.

  It is truly a special feeling having your baby nice and close to you in your VIXSA Baby Carrier, but like anything you must take certain precautions. Please always follow the instructions provided to you with your VIXSA Wrap Carrier or Ring Sling or available on VIXSA website.

  When wearing your VIXSA WRAP CARRIER please be mindful of your surroundings. You SHOULDN'T do anything you wouldn't normally do holding a baby.

  You SHOULDN'T leave your carrier unattended or let baby play with it or the bag

  Practice makes perfect! it will take a few goes before you find the right firmness.

  Follow the T.I.C.K.S Rule for safe baby wearing

  T - TIGHT - Your wrap carrier should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you. Any slack/loose fabric will allow your baby to slump down in the wrap carrier which can hinder their breathing and pull on your back.

  I - IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES - You should always be able to see your baby's face by simply glancing down. The fabric of the wrap carrier should not close around them.

  C - CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS - Your baby's head should be as close to your chin as comfortable. You should be able to kiss your baby on the head.

  K - KEEP CHIN OFF THE CHEST - A baby should never be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict their breathing.

  S - SUPPORTED BACK - Your baby should be held comfortably close to the wearer so their back is supported in its natural position and their tummy and chest are against you. If your wrap carrier is too loose they can slump which can partially close their airway
